I love to get creative in the kitchen. This time of year is really good for starchy soups, they make you full and happy. Indulging in a warm bowl of soup is a great escape from the frigid cold dry air out here in Boulder, Colorado. Potatoes are a great root vegetable to use in soup. Potatoes have a lot of starch, which gives the soup a “creamy” texture and look without the use of cream. This soup is gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan! It’s also high in Vitamin A which is good for healthy skin and hair.

I had the opportunity to photograph this lovely wedding ceremony at the Flagstaff Ampitheater in Boulder, CO. A lovely outdoor location with an amazing overlook of the city. Of course, this wedding had lots of flavor with the bride wearing a beautiful emerald green dress and the groom wearing the traditional white. Wine pouring. Hora Dancing. Fun Games. Yummy Cake. Yesterday was a double whammy!  I also had the privilege of meeting the lovely little Caleigh.  This 1 week old was so alert and curious I was amazed. No sleeping baby photos of this little girl, despite the full belly and space heater going full blast!

I not only had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful, wonderful little creature but I had so much fun taking her newborn portraits.  Just 3 weeks old she was very content and cooperative.  Of course, she made a little mess when we took the diaper off, but what do you expect?

I had the pleasure of capturing the beauty of pregnancy once again at my studio in Boulder, CO. Can’t wait to meet the baby girl once she comes out into the world!  Thanks to Jesika for the opportunity to photograph her baby belly!

I had the pleasure of photographing a pregnant woman today at my studio location in Boulder. She is due in 1 week and we were both super excited to be able capture her at this phase in her life. Can’t wait for the newborn portrait session!

It was a lovely fall day with beautiful golden fields as our backdrop. I think the little guy had fun running around and exploring. It was definitely a challenge to get this one to move slow and look at the camera!

I had a great time driving up into the mountains for an engagement portrait adventure and picnic with these two wonderful lovebirds. We went on a scenic drive looking for aspen trees and pretty lakes. Enjoy!
