Here’s some photos from a wedding that took place at the Red Lion just up Canyon. I’ve got to say the food at this wedding was remarkably good! And I absolutely loved the bold colors!

It’s back to wedding season and here are a few shots to start it off. Taken at a wedding held at the Bella Serra in Castle Rock, CO.

Jason Calloway is the master chef and food artist behind the doors of Rooster Moon Coffeehouse & Pub just off of 10th & Bannock in Denver, CO. I recently enjoyed a beautifully prepared vegetarian sandwich and a soup/salad plate. Seriously, who serves soup on a plate? That was a first for me, and I must say it went over well. The portion was absolutely perfect! Judging by the simple and elegant beauty of the food, it should come as no surprise that it was just delicious.

My sister was thinking of me at the grocery store the other day and picked up a little 20 page full color recipe catalog for me on Vegetarian Cuisine. How long has it been since I’ve used a recipe??? Years… Well, needless to say the photos inspired me to buy some new food items and follow directions (well, sort of). I can’t really say I followed the recipe, as most of the measurements were in ounces and I didn’t feel like doing all the conversions. Either way, it was a fun project and I was pleased with the turn out.
Final product was Veggie-Spelt Balls topped with sauteed tomatoes and broccoli soup. The broccoli soup added a dimension of color as well as a bit of moisture (since the balls are kind of bread like being made from spelt and all).

I had the opportunity to utilize Alive Studios (a co-op which I participate in) for this family portrait session. Boys aged 10months-8years. Definitely a challenge not to have mom or dad in the picture!

I was honored to be invited to Laura Moretz‘ opening reception at the Space Gallery in Denver on 2.26.2010. There was a beautiful fruit and nut platter arranged by Cindy Harless with The Food Guy. Thanks to everybody who participated in the fun and beauty of the night!

What's going on here? He's getting a nice, up-close look at the painting...

I had the pleasure of working with this beautiful jewelry made by a woman in Bali, India. Karyn Robinson is the representative and distributer based out of Boulder, Colorado. You can purchase products at www.balimalas.com

Can’t keep the camera away from this beautiful little girl! My niece Aryanna at 18 months. We went for a little walk to the park by her house and I played with my camera while she played with the sand.

We ventured to a lovely park in Castle Pines with a wonderful view of the Rockies for this quickie photo session. Christian is doing so well for a premie and was almost on his feet and walking around.

It was wonderful to meet adorable little Zachary. I got to watch him play the guitar and then we went on a stroller walk in the snowy park right near his house. Of course, he was sleeping before he got back inside his warm and cozy home.
